Jessica Kong joined the California Rangeland Trust as the new Communications Director in 2016. She will assist the organization in developing and launching communications and outreach strategies via traditional media, new media, and creative services.
Previously, as principal/owner and operator of boutique creative agency Stampede Innovations, Jessica communicated brand messages by crafting visual, verbal, interactive, and virtual experiences. Her background is complemented by her Bachelors of Science degree in Agricultural Business (2009) from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo. Fascinated by the details and nuances that inspire brand messages she continued her education in internet marketing, copywriting, and design theory following graduation.
In addition, Jessica worked as a seasonal ranch hand since 2001, breaking horses, wrangling dude strings, and loping horses on the National Cutting Horse Association circuit. She is thrilled to now devote her time and energy toward corralling support for the conservation of California’s rangelands.
