Running Deer Ranch encompases 1,275 acres of rangeland within the Blue Ridge-Berryessa Natural Area. The easement safeguards approximately 4,000 feet of frontage land along Lake Berryessa. It conserves historic Las Putas Rancho originally acquired by the Berryessa brothers in 1843. More than 300 native plant species, waterfowl and other wildlife call the ranch home. This easement was funded by U. S. Natural Resources Conservation Service and California Department of Conservation.
